- BAD AND UGLY: Actor/director Clint Eastwood has seen his investment in a 2,000-acre luxury housing development near Carmel go from the good to the bad and ugly. Values are seeing dramatic price drops. Eastwood pulled 33 lots off the market until conditions improve. (Wall Street Journal)
- DUNAWAY FIGHTS EVICTION: Well, perhaps the New York Times got it wrong when it implied that actress Faye Dunaway isn?t fighting her eviction from her rent-control apartment in Manhattan. The the Academy Award winner pays just over $1,000 a month for in rent for it. Her landlord says she can?t stay because she lives in California. But a Dunaway lawyer said New York is her true home. - GLASS HOUSE: Fashion designer Vera Wang has bought a contemporary home in Beverly Hills for about $10 million. The Trousdale view house has almost no walls inside and glass walls almost all around it. (Wall Street Journal)
