Do Realtors Work With Rental Homes? - OH Real Estate Agent

Q: I will be relocating to a new state in the next few months and it is an area that I am unfamiliar with, do Realtors deal with rental homes? If they do would it be smart for me to contact one so that I can have someone with knowledge of where I will be moving to and how would I go about finding one?

A: YES! Some realtors do what is called an ?area tour? for relocation companies. So if your work is moving you, be sure to ask them if they have a Relocation department who can assist you. Otherwise, there are separate Property Management companies that DO work with renters in helping them find places to rent, and guiding them around the area.
