The HR Business Partner provides HR leadership for?Pinnacle?s Central Region.? The position is focused on building people capability and driving and executing key Human Resources (HR) initiatives and programs throughout the region.? You will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer and partner with the Regional President and their Regional team to leverage HR as a competitive business advantage. In addition, this role will provide HR Generalist support to the Dallas Corporate office.? The position closely partners with the Region Educational Leaders as well as Legal, Compensation/Benefits, and Risk Management as needed.?

  • Step change the strategy and execution of selecting, developing and retaining high-potential Regional talent (40%)
    • Lead succession/bench planning at the property, area and region level
    • Assess and address emerging people development needs in the region as well as validating the quality of the selection, retention, on-boarding and learning & development
    • Coach/train on use of retention tools, internal promotion process, external sourcing, selection, offer negotiation, on-boarding and orientation
  • Build high performance culture (20%)
    • Leads the fields implementation of new people core processes and HR Technology
    • Leverage our culture principles to drive overall culture in region
  • Provide visible partnership to region leaders on strategic issues (20%)
    • Partner with Regional President, RVPs, IMs to drive key business and HR initiatives within the region
    • Lead strategy execution to drive performance on HR measures for the KPI?s (i.e. employee satisfaction, turnover, stability, retention, training, development, etc.)
  • Manage tactical HR issues (20%)
    • Leads performance management and individual development planning processes within the region
    • Coach and build capability on employee relations issues and get involved as needed (partner with legal, risk management, etc.)
    • Lead HR processes including benefit enrollment, property takeovers, employee recognition programs/events and compliance policies/practices
    • Execute flawlessly performance and disciplinary management process
NOTES: Local Residents Preferred (No Relo)

-Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources.
- Prefer HR Business Partner experience with real estate, retail, and restaurant background.
- Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with top management.
- Proven track record of developing effective partnerships and solid long term relationships with diverse backgrounds.
- Outstanding problem solving, communication and presentation skills.
- The ideal candidate will be well organized, can juggle multiple priorities, work well under pressure and confident to work independently but will be a strong team player.
- Position based in the Dallas Corporate Office. No relocation offered at this time.
- Travel 25% required
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
