ngmoco and NimbleBit are bringing Pocket Frogs to Android

Pocket Frogs

Add another iOS hit to the Android library of games, NimbleBit is porting Pocket Frogs our favorite mobile platform. The addicting game has been downloaded over 7.5 million times from the iTunes App Store. The froggy game lets gamers "collect, breed and share more than 15,000 types of unique, stylized frogs. Players can also customize their frog’s habitats and explore their pond to find rewards and discover rare items before visiting their friend’s ponds.

The game is being ported over to the Android platform using ngmoco's Mobage development services. The development engine is an SDK that allows quick Java Script-based development for developers wanting to bring games to Android.

Unfotunately the press release leaves us without a date. We're hoping sooner than later. Full press release after the break.

Now, who's ready for some frogs your favorite jeans?
