Free shows at Harborfront Park, Port Jefferson Brewing Co., and Heritage Park are taking place Wednesday night. See when they start.
Looking for something to do with the family Wednesday night? While the Maritime Explorium is kicking off its nano-tech event today, a few opportunities are open from Mt. Sinai to Port Jeff Village to catch some live music for free during the evening hours.At Heritage Park, a free concert series continues at 6:30 p.m., as members of the?School of Rock and the Organization of Open Mic?Performing Artists will be performing at the show, sponsored by the Rocky Point VFW and Legis. In the village,?Mick Hargreaves & The King Band will be playing at Harborfront Park starting at 6:30 p.m., part of the village's?Harborfront Park Picnic Supper Concerts. The group played the series last summer, and meanwhile around the corner, Irish rockers Bangars & Mash will be performing at Port Jefferson Brewing Co. as part of its own summertime concert series. Bangars & Mash starts at 7 p.m.
